KIDS CLUB RELAUNCHING
"FAMILY GATHERING AT WAYAN MADE KIDS CLUB"

(Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia) --- On April 25th Bali Hilton International re-launched the Kids Club after a US$60,000 refurbishment project which started on June 2003. Children can now enjoy a new adventure playground, a mini-purpose games court, an extended air-conditioned suite of playrooms plus the existing facilities provided by the Wayan Made Kids Club.

The event attracted over 100 adults and Children from travel agents in Bali. The event was opened with a welcome dance from the local school for the disabled and this was followed by fun games, Magicians, clowns, face-painting, a great buffet and lots of prizes. There was even a lucky draw for the adults that included stays at the Bali, Jakarta and Surabaya Hiltons and a range of meal vouchers from the restaurants in Bali Hilton International.

The renovation included the building of a new Adventure playground, the most extensive element of the refurbishment. With an investment of over US$30,000 the new playground comprises; a completely new build rope climbing frame covering a ground area of over 400sqm with 8 levels rising to a height of well over 3 metres. The facility offers 3 slides, rope climbing nets, rope tubes, monkey bars, ‘tree houses’and has 6 entry points, 9 exit points and over 100 different routes through the timber and rope structure! The playground is designed for the 7-12+ year olds, however the younger children have not been forgotten as a ‘Kiddys’ play area has also been constructed along with a sand play area and play house.

In addition, there is also a Multi Purpose Court that can be used for playing volleyball, basketball, 5 aside soccer, badminton and paddle tennis, build adjacent to the 18 hole fun mini golf course. As well as a new water-feature
The indoor area was doubled in size in the renovation providing a main play and activity area, a playstation room with 8 playstations and a sleep room.

Safety and security of the children at the Wayan Made Kids Club was of major consideration throughout the project, and this included the addition of a wall around the complete facility with Child proof entry and access points.

The Kids Club provides families staying at Bali Hilton International a free exciting yet safe child-care facility where children can enjoy and experience a wide range of kid’s activities while parents can escape for repast and repair in the spa, take advantage of our wide range of sporting and recreational facilities or just relax on our beach!
