Wine training at the Bali Hilton International

Mr. Wirabawa, F&B manager of the Bali Hilton International and the Wine Company PT. Primera Internusa Niaga from Jakarta organized a wine training for the F&B department of the Bali Hilton International. The training was held on Monday 17th June 2002, at the Samudra meeting room. "With more knowledge about wine our staff will be more confident to sell our wines" was Mr. Wirabawa's opinion.

The Bali Hilton International's goal of this training is to update the wine-knowledge of the F&B department. Mr. Matthieu Credou was leading the wine training together with Mr. Hansen of the Balinese Wine Company PT. Dharmamitra Internusa.

Mr. Credou, a French employee of PT. Primera Internusa Niaga, Jakarta working for Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin stated: "It's not always the quality in the bottle that counts, but even more the atmosphere, staff and surroundings that makes enjoying wine more pleasant!" During the wine training, the production of wine and the characteristics of different grapes in different countries were explained. After the theoretical part some French Chardonnay and Shiraz wines were tasted.
